- 3.1. All equipment of the laundry for field use may be located in two road-trains. One lorry hauls laundry unit, mounted on auto trailer 2-Ï-5 (model ÃÊÁ - 817), the second hauls mobile power generating unit ÝÑÄ-30-Ò/400, mounted on a auto truck 2-ÏÍ-2. As a hauling truck the following lorries may be used ÇÈË-130, MAÇ-500, ÓÐÀË - 375, ÓÐÀË - 377.
- 3.2. Deployment
of ÌÌÏ-2 is carried out on a even site near a source of water (up
to 35 m far).
- The laundry
equipment ensures processing of linen and outfit under the following
processing stages:
- acceptance,
- sorting,
- wetting,
- washing with rinsing and intermediate squeezing,
- squeezing,
- drying,
- mending if required,
- ironing,
- sorting,
- temporary storage and distribution.
- The layout of ÌÌÏ-2 in field location is shown in fig. 1.

3.3. The main equipment of ÌÌÏ-2 includes:
- laundry unit,
- power generating unit ÝÑÄ - 30 - Ò/400 with set of movable cables of power and illuminating network;
- compressor to supply compressed air to boiler and heater nozzles; pumping station;
- heating and ventilation devices ÎÂ - 65 and ÎÂ - 30.

In the course of the laundry deployment two production departments are formed: sorting-preparatory department and ironing-mending.
Production departments' equipment is located in two ÓÑÒ-56 tents and includes: field sewing-machine, two electric irons, scales, metalwork bench, three fold stools, three fold shelvings for linen, a table for sorting of mend outfit, two tables for irons, foot supports, field and installation tools (shovels, axes, saws, craw-bars, two fire extinguishers with cartridges).
